An extensive system of traffic lights is due to be installed at the Polestar roundabout from next week.
The 10-week project will begin on Monday 19th June.
Works will be carried out at nighttime for a period of 10 weeks.
Donegal County Council has said that ‘positive traffic control’ will be in place with diversions to facilitate the installation.
The sequence of works shall be as follows: –
- Port Road Island Road Crossing
- Ramelton Road Island Road Crossings
- Central Island Road Crossing
- Port Road Island Works
- Ramelton Road Island Works
- Neil T Blaney Road Island Works
- Four Lane Road Works
