Fourteen Naval Service members celebrated in the sunshine at Malin Head after completing a 670km charity cycle.
The Mizen to Malin cycle took place over five days and saw a team of volunteers from the Navy TRI club pedalling from Cork to Donegal in aid of Marymount University Hospice in Cork.
The cyclists received a triumphant welcome when they reached Ireland’s most northerly point on Friday.
The 14 cyclists have a combined service of 348 years, ranging in age from 32 – 59 years.
They chose to support Marymount Hospice in recognition of the outstanding end-of-life care they provide in the Cork community, including members past and present of the Naval Service.
