Raphoe Volt House Community Centre
Congratulations to ST Eunans National School on being crowned All Ireland Champions in the FAI ~Schools Competition. Well done to the team, teachers, and coaches. What a great achievement.
In 1947, Vincent Hamilton (R.I.P.) left Raphoe to go to Scotland. He settled in Cardenden and raised his family there. His grandson, Michael Cunningham, as a tribute to him and to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Scotland, plans to retrace his steps and walk from Cardenden to Raphoe, leaving Scotland on Saturday June 10th and planning to be in Raphoe on Saturday
June 17th. His aunt Kathleen Dunlop would like everyone to give Michael a warm Raphoe welcome, and would like everyone to join her and her family meet Michael on his arrival at The Suile Centre, (time to be confirmed for the 17/6/23) where refreshments will be served, and everyone is very welcome.
Good luck to all students doing or about to start exams, from everyone in the Volt House.
Great news from Criunniú na nÓg , their event for Saturday 10th June in the Suile Center is fully subscribed.
