All roadworks on Stranorlar Main Street will be paused for the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Local councillor, Patrick McGowan, has been informed that plant and traffic management will be off the road and it will be open to two-way traffic.
“We envisage that last weekend was the last one to have a Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) on the Main Street. Going forward, all will be removed at weekends,” he said.
“A small TTM set up will be back in place next Tuesday morning for the road crossing at the Charity Shop, and access to Ard MacCool from the Main Street will be closed.”
The roadworks are part of the Ballybofey and Stranorlar sewerage scheme upgrade and will continue for the next two months.
