A Letterkenny motor shop has revved up an appeal to find a sentimental statue believed to be stolen this week.
The ‘1Stop Man’ from One Stop Motorshop at Dry Arch Business Park went missing overnight on Tuesday.
The mechanic statue was last seen on Tuesday evening around 5.30pm.
“We are currently looking into CCTV but suspect two men in a van have taken him possibly as a joke,” the owners said.
“But he is of sentimental value and we would like to get him back.”

This suspected theft comes just days after an ice-cream cone display was whipped from Glencar Spar. The ‘cold case’ was soon solved after a public appeal and the cone was returned within days, not before making headlines nationwide.
