Paul Elliott’s playing days at St. Eunan’s GAA will be fondly remembered forever thanks to a thoughtful gift from his club.
Paul, whose family own the popular McGinley’s Bar in Letterkenny, sadly passed in February of this year.
The Letterkenny man was a devoted husband and a doting father of two. He is dearly missed by all.
The St Eunan’s community wanted to create a poignant gift to honour Paul’s time at the club, and so they framed a team photo of Paul lining out in the black and amber.
The picture was recently presented to Paul’s father, Hughie, by Conor Doherty.
“The untimely, recent passing of Paul Elliott cast a dark cloud of sadness across the entire town of Letterkenny and beyond. Paul, the eldest of the Elliott family, represented the club at underage level, with a smile on his face and was a hugely popular figure,” a spokesperson said.
