Tributes have been paid to three Letterkenny teachers who have given 91 years of service to their school.
There was much laughter but also also sadness at Loreto Letterkenny as teachers Ms. Imelda Rodgers, Ms. Brid Mulhern and Ms. Siobhan Gill all announced their retirements.
Tributes to the three teachers by principal Geraldine Mullen.
Principal Mullen said that between the three teachers they shared an amazing 91 years of service in the school.
She added that the school was really going to miss the presence of the three teachers but wished them every joy and blessing in the years ahead.
Presentations were made by the leadership team at the school and the party continued in the staffroom.
