A pair of jet skiers had a thrilling encounter with a massive basking shark at Horn Head last weekend.
The massive creature swam up close to the pair, leaving them in awe of the gentle giant.
Basking sharks are the second largest fish in the world. Despite their intimidating appearance, they are harmless to humans and feed mainly on small fish and plankton.
The sharks have been spotted in waters around Dunfanaghy in recent days, providing some incredible surprises for people near the coast.
