This week’s Raphoe Notes are out.
Work has begun on the Mural at Hyndmans corner depicting “Market Day in the Diamond”, taken from an original picture by the photographer Peter James Sisam (1914 – 2015), who visited Raphoe circa 1940s. Photo is courtesy of Hazel Willoughby (with thanks). The art work is being carried out by Nik Purdy of Blow Designs and we are sure it will become a major tourist attraction.
