The two men who are running from Dublin to Creeslough are expected to be coming through Letterkenny around 3.30 pm today.
Dunfanaghy man Neil McCollum and South African native, Mario Talotti, both based in Kildare, commenced the gruelling challenge from the Phoenix Park on Thursday morning with the aim of raising funds for the Creeslough Tragedy Fund.
Blisters apart, both men are feeling well and are in good spirits.
Speaking at a stop at Donoughmore NS, Liscooley, around 1 pm, Neil said: “We are just keeping things steady. It was a great feeling to cross the border earlier and get back into Donegal.
“It’s warm and getting warmer, so staying hydrated is important. We’re looking forward to getting through Letterkenny and seeing the sign for Termon. The next sign we’ll see after that will be for Creeslough.”
The finish line for the pair will be St Michael’s Church in Creeslough.
