An ice cream fundraiser will take place in Ballybofey today in aid of the Donegal ladies soccer team.
Next month, 20 girls (born in 2009) from over the county will be taking part in the prestigious Gaynor Cup. However, they need to raise as much money as possible in order to keep their expenses down.
Bolands Centra, on Navenny Street, will kindly donate the proceeds from their ice-cream sales today to help with the effort. Girls from the squad will also be at the shop between 11am to 5pm and it will be a great opportunity to meet and support them.
And with temperatures due to reach a high of 20 degrees, the timing couldn’t be better!
