We are looking to expand our work by recruiting for the following posts:
Accommodation Support Worker
(Fixed term contract for 12 months – with the possibility of contract extension subject to funding)
Donegal Domestic Violence Services is seeking to recruit an Accommodation Support Worker to expand the work of our organisation. This post is a new development for the service.
Main Purpose of Job: The main function of this job will be to provide support and advocacy as needed to the clients accessing these units and to support their move into either rental or social housing within the community.
Position Reports to: Manager, Main building, Letterkenny
Salary:€35,000 – €40,000 depending on experience (35 hrs per week Mon – Fri)
Essential Criteria:
- A relevant Third Level Degree.
- A history of working in housing /social housing structures and familiarity with advocacy of clients within these same structures.
- A background / experience working with adults / children who have been through trauma / experienced domestic abuse.
- A good understanding of Child Protection referral criteria and experience of working within the Child Protection system.
- Competency in IT Skills
- Full clean driving licence required

Outreach Support Worker
(South / West Donegal) (Fixed term contract for 24 months with the possibility of contract extension subject to funding)

Donegal Domestic Violence Services is seeking to recruit an Outreach Support Worker currently covering the South and West of the county. (Bundoran – Dungloe).
Position Reports to: Manager, Main building, Letterkenny
