St Eunan’s College in Letterkenny has scooped a massive €250,000 prize after being confirmed as the iRevise School of the Year.
A spokesperson for the college confirmed the result to Donegal Daily a short time ago.
“We are delighted to announce Saint Eunan’s have been successful in winning the iRevise School of the Year,” they said.
The college also paid a huge thanks to teacher, Mr Paul Browne, along with the Student Well-being team who helped hugely with their video for the competition.
The competition is run by iRevise and the top prize is €250,000 worth of educational resources for all students. The college has also won three places for its students at the Euro Languages Summer College.
The competition is based on health and well-being programmes in schools with a focus also on its contribution to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental awareness.
The St Eunan’s Well-being Team made a video and entered it. The judges were so impressed, they shortlisted it among the top ten schools.
