A night to celebrate the music of local musical entertainer Hugh McLean has been organised by the Letterkenny Community Heritage Group.
Hugh started his career with the Willie Ponsonby showband in April 1963, and went on to build a successful career singing across Ireland, the UK and US. He fronted many bands including the Mighty Avons and Knoxville.
To mark Hugh’s 60 years in music, the Letterkenny Community Heritage Group invite everyone to join them at the Station House on Monday, the 17th of April at 8 o’clock.
Several guests have been invited to attend with Hugh to celebrate his sixty years in musical entertainment.
Refreshments will be served, a few stories will be shared, and no doubt a few numbers will be sung.
Come along and join in the celebration at 8 o’clock at the Station House on Monday, the 17th.
