Gleneely Colts FC held their first-ever Evelyn Doherty Martin Easter Cup at Glenview Park last weekend.
The tournament was named in honour of a much-loved local lady, Evelyn Doherty, nee Martin, who passed away last August.
In memory of Evelyn, U13 players were brought together to play during two days of exciting matches.
Fifteen teams took part in the 7-a-side Cup.
The winning girls team on Friday was Gleneely Colts and runners-up were Greencastle FC.
On Saturday the winning boys team was Clonmany FC and the runners-up was Cockhill Celtic FC Hoops.
“Thanks to all the Committee and Volunteers at the club for all their hard work in the lead up to this tournament, and also for giving up their time the past 2 days to run a very successful competition.”
