An Inishowen football club has appealed to people not to vandalise their new facilities.
Clonmany Shamrocks are close to opening their new astro turf pitch.
However, the pitch has been targeted by vandals who have thrown rocks and other objects onto it.
A spokesperson for the club said “Our new Astro is very near completion. We are saddened to see several dangerous objects being thrown on it already.
“A huge effort has been put into this development and we would hate to see it damaged due to this vandalism.
“If you see any suspicious behaviour around our grounds please report to the Garda.”
