Planning permission is being sought to build thirteen new houses in west Donegal.

Axis Construction Ltd has lodged plans for the development at Cnoc Na Gcaorach, Quay Road, Dungloe.

The proposed development will consist of 12 new houses, ranging in height from one to two storey. It will also involve the renovation and addition of a two storey extension to an existing 2 storey house to provide a total of 13 houses.

The developer says the proposed mix of houses will consist of two-bed, three-bed and seven four-bed homes.

The planning application involves a new vehicular entrance along the north edge of the application site via Quay Road. The development will also provide public open space areas including a playground.
