A man has appeared in court charged under the theft and Fraud Offences Act following an incident at LIDL in Milford.
Thomas Ward of The Gardens, Ballymacool, Letterkenny appeared at Letterkenny District Court.
Garda David Doherty said he apprehended Ward yesterday, April 2nd in the car park of LIDL in Milford at 2.40pm and took him to Milford Garda Station.
Ward was charged at 6.03pm but made no reply.
Garda Doherty said he was also aware that two bench warrants were in existence for Ward from Blanchardstown Court in Dublin.
Gardai said there was no objection to bail but asked for a number of conditions including that Ward sign on at Letterkenny Garda Station.
The case was adjourned until June 12th next.
