Ciaran McGonagle finished 6th overall and was the leading Team Ireland runner at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100k in Armagh earlier today.
The Letterkenny AC athlete produced a brilliant run over the grueling distance.
His time of 6 hours 57 minutes and 32 seconds saw him lead his team home.
The winner was Northern Ireland runner Jarlath McKenna who posted a time of 6:37.19.
The Home International event was based from the South Lake Leisure Centre in Craigavon. It plays an important role in developing athletes at distances beyond the Marathon and to prepare athletes for future opportunities at European and World Championships.
McGonagle was part of an 11-strong Ireland team.
