The hardworking Convoy Community Environmental Committee organised a major cleanup of the area last weekend.
The big Spring Clean, held last Saturday, resulted in three large skips being filled to the brim by volunteers.

The discarded rubbish was collected on all entrance roads into Convoy.
“Thank you to everyone who again took part in the big Spring Clean on Saturday,” a spokesperson for the group said.
“A special thank you must go to Beth and Rev Colin McKibbin for supplying the hotdogs after the clean up in The Black Memorial Hall. Also, thanks to Grace and her team for helping with the teas.”
