There are three more finals in the North West Zones boxing championships on Thursday night in Letterkenny Boxing Club.
This follows last Saturday’s day of action in Carndonagh Boxing Club where a host of young boxers put on a brilliant display of entertainment.
The action on Thursday night gets underway at 7.30pm and all the winners from these championships will go forward to the Ulster finals in Rochesters Boxing Club in Derry on Sunday, April 2nd.
Meanwhile two Donegal boxers will represent a Belfast Select this weekend with teams from Boston, USA providing the opposition.
Raphoe’s middleweight kingpin Cathal McLaughlin will fight for the Belfast Select on Friday night in Dunmurry, Co. Antrim.
Then on Sunday evening, Raphoe’s Ulster schoolboy champion David Tennyson will be in action for Belfast against Boston in a tournament in Ballymoney, Co. Antrim.
