Front door of house substantially damaged during Lifford incident

Substantial damage was caused to a house in Lifford during which gardai believe the culprit was trying to gain entry to the residence.

The incident of criminal damage occurred at a house in Beechwood Grove area on Tuesday, March 21st at 1.10pm.

The front window of the house was damaged and substantial damage was also caused to the front door.

Gardaí say entry was not gained to the house although they believe an attempt was made to get in.

Investigating gardaí are appealing to residents in the area or anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them at Letterkenny garda station on 074 91 67100.
