Mr Anderson was one of the founding members of the Twin Towns Boxing Club in 1979, alongside his brother Brian.
Peter boxed at a professional level in London and in 1998 was awarded the Donegal Sports Stars Hall of Fame Award.
Above all, he was a family man, a gentleman to everyone he met and a great character of Drumboe.
