The Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Society has launched a drive for new members.
The next meeting of the ambitious group is tomorrow night at which they will discuss a much needed museum for the area.

“I don’t think we have a speaker lined up, so we might use this meeting to discuss what the future has in store for our society,” a spokesperson for the society said.
“We would love to have a museum in the area, more new members and younger people to talk to their grandparents and get as much information as possible from them and let their story be told. So we appeal for more people to become involved and keep our historical society alive for a few more years.”
The meeting is at 7.30pm in The Henderson Hall, Stranorlar, opposite the Church of Ireland and behind Robertson National School (F93 XV29).
