Donegal athletes help Ireland medal at European U20s

Tir Chonaill AC’s Lucy McGlynn and Finn Valley’s Hannah Murray helped Ireland to medal at yesterday’s DNA Under 20 European Team competition in Spain.

Murray won silver in the 4x400m relay while McGlynn secured bronze in the 2x2x2 relay event.

Ireland, who were under Team Manager Dermot McGranaghan (Finn Valley), finished 5th in the inaugural running of the European Athletics competition.
