Arranmore United 3 v 1 Dunlewey Celtic
The Islanders started with a bang as their three goals were all scored in the opening ten minutes.
Glenn O’ Donnell opened the scoring after 5 minutes with a well-placed shot, followed soon after by John Roper and the third was tapped in by Damien Webber after a scuffle in the box. Arran looked the more dominant throughout the 1st half and were unlucky not to add to their tally.
Dunlewey came out after half-time and tried to make an impact on the game and managed to get one back shortly after the restart. However, the damage was already done and Arranmore saw out the game with their two-goal lead intact.

Kildrum Tigers Reserves 3 v 3 Cappry Rovers Reserves
Cappry took an early lead with a great strike from the edge of the 18-yard box. They then doubled that lead ten minutes later before Killian Gillen pulled one back for Kildrum before halftime.
The second half started lively with Cappry restoring their two-goal advantage. Midway through the half Ethan Coll got the Tigers back in it and with 10 minutes to go Corey Mc Bride Gillen popped up to score and level the tie.
Strand Rovers 1 v 2 Donegal Town Reserves
Strand Rovers and Donegal town kicked off in with an uneventful start to the first half. The game was mainly played in the Donegal Town half with a few goal chances for the home side not executed properly until a pass from Cain Mc Gee to Brendan Glackin sent him through on goal but the referee had blown up for a free kick just before his shot ended up in the net.
The free kick was perfectly taken by James Mc Cole to put the home side on the score-sheet. A minute later it was level again when Ciaran Monaghan got on the end of a through ball to level the match at 1-1 at half time.
The second half was much the same with both teams pushing for a second but it wasn’t until injury time that Donegal Town was able to get the winner when their right back dribbled it up the line and passed to Declan Duignan who coolly placed it in the corner to finish the game at 1-2 to the visiting side.
Old Orchard Saturday Division Two
Castlefin Celtic Reserves 0 v 0 St. Catherines Reserves
Castlefin and St Catherine’s played out a scoreless draw on Saturday. Both teams cancelled each other out for the majority of the game.
In the opening half Castlefin had half-chances through Lee Mc Laughlin and Thomas Devlin. The second half didn’t see much change but Castlefin had the best opportunity, Reece Gallagher going close.
Cranford United Reserves 2 v 3 Kilmacrennan Celtic Reserves
Kilmacrennan took all three points from an entertaining game played in the Aura Leisure Centre. Kilmacrennan were out of the blocks fast and were two nil up after 25 minutes from two good strikes from outside the box. Kilmacrennan missed a penalty just before the break which would have finished off the game.
Cranford came out the stronger in the second half and got a goal back as a Dale Mc Fadden cross was headed home by Andrew Kelly. Just as the momentum was with Cranford, Kilmacrennan restored their two-goal lead. With five minutes to go Cranford were given a lifeline from an own goal. They pushed everyone forward and had some half-chances but couldn’t get the equaliser
Fintown Harps AFC 2 v 1 Drumbar United
In wet and windy conditions Fintown and Drumbar played a good spirited game of football with chances hard to come by. Fintown then won a free at the edge of the box and the trusty left boot of forever young Dermot Slevin found the bottom corner to put the harps one ahead.
Drumbar came close soon after that with a free kick but it went just over the bar. Logan Quinn and Steven Boyle then had chances for Fintown on 15 minutes and 20 minutes but the Drumbar keeper stood firm to foil both efforts. Ethan O’Donnell corners were causing havoc for the Drumbar defence but Fintown couldn’t find the 2nd goal.
The hosts had a dream start for in the 2nd half when Logan found himself on the edge of the box to fire low into the left-hand bottom corner of the Drumbar net.
Drumbar pushed hard to get back into the game and were rewarded when a great through ball found Sion Carr and scored to set up an interesting final spell. Fintown had a good few chances late on with Joe Smith coming very close on three occasions only to be denied by some good goalkeeping and the crossbar.
Milford United Reserves 3 v 3 Ballybofey United Reserves
Ballybofey made the trip down to Moyle View looking to take points off Milford after a good win the previous week against Kilmacrennan.
Milford opened the scoring with a great turn by Ciaran Blaney who slotted home from a sharp angle. Milford seemed well on top but an injury to Blaney changed the tempo of the game leaving Ballybofey looking the more dominant. Ballybofey levelled through a deflection from the Milford Centre Back.
Both teams came out strong for the second half with Ballybofey taking the lead before Milford equalised through Jason Mc Conigley. The game was in the melting pot with both teams looking dangerous, Ballybofey went ahead again but for the second-time Milford equalised, again through Mc Conigley.
The excitement wasn’t over as Ballybofey were awarded a penalty Milford Keeper Matthews made a great save from the left foot of Darren Bonner. At the end both teams walked away with a point which looked to be the fair result.

Drumkeen United 1 v 0 Letterbarrow Celtic
It has been a long time coming but Drumkeen finally got their first points of the Season after a hard-earned victory over visitors Letterbarrow on Sunday Afternoon.
Played in Sunny and sometimes windy Conditions Drumkeen found themselves ahead after 10 minutes. Drumkeen have found goals hard to come by this season but they got one in this game when Auryn Coyle was on hand to fire the ball home after a goalmouth scramble.
Drumkeen found themselves in the unusual position of having a lead to defend and for the next 80 minutes and they managed to do just that. Drumkeen could have had another goal before half time as Dabhan Doherty had a couple of efforts, one of which forced a good save from the Letterbarrow Goalkeeper.
As you would expect from Letterbarrow they continued to press for an equaliser but found the Drumkeen defence and Goalkeeper Cormac Mulraine in good form as he made some fine saves throughout the game. Referee: George Clinton
Milford United 5 v 1 Donegal Town
Milford came out on top in a very competitive game at Moyle View Park, defeating Donegal Town by five goals to one. Milford went one up on 30 minutes when Jonny Logue found Gary Merritt in space and Merritt’s through ball found Cathal Mc Gettigan who made no mistake form 12 yards.
The goal was slightly against the run of play, with Caolan Mc Gettigan producing two great saves early to deny the visitors. Milford’s best chance fell to Gary Merritt who tried to lob Paddy Kelly only for the ball to come off the cross bar. Milford got their second on 53 minutes when Cathal Mc Gettigan got on the end of a Joey Cullen flick on and hit the roof of the net. Killian Mc Bride made it four goals in four games with an excellent finish from 12 yards.
