Donegal County Council will send out their gritters on all main routes in Donegal tonight as temperatures dip below freezing.
There is a risk of widespread frost and possibly some icy stretches overnight as temperatures fall to between -2 and +1 degrees.
Gritters will be in action from 7pm this Saturday night and again from 6am on Sunday morning.
Tonight will be cold and dry with long clear spells, according Met Eireann.
Sunday will start cold and frosty but it will be a dry day with hazy sunshine. It will be breezy though as southerly winds freshen. Highest temperatures of 6 or 7 degrees.
