Termon’s Jamie Grant and Shane O’Donnell of St. Eunan’s both started in a Donegal heavy Dublin City University squad that overcame MTU Cork in the Sigerson Cup last night.
Grant was named on the team sheet to start, while O’Donnell was a late change before throw-in as DCU won 2-12 to 0-9, while Glenfin’s Ross Marley came off the bench in the second half.
Oisin Cannon of St. Michael’s, Sean Mac Cumhaills man Oisin Gallen, and Johnny McGroddy of Downings were all unused subs as the Dublin side made it into the semi-final with ease.
DCU advanced last night along with University of Limerick, who defeated NUI Galway 1-15 to 2-10, a reverse result of the 2022 final.
In the other two quarter-finals which are to be played tonight, TU Dublin take on UCD while St. Mary’s Belfast meet UCC.
