Caolan McColgan has been announced as the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin man made his league debut on Sunday, and was instrumental in Donegal’s one point win over All-Ireland Champions Kerry.
McColgan scored 0-3 from wing back in the 0-13 to 1-9 win over The Kingdom, and deservedly won Man of the Match for his performance.
McColgan received 3, 901 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Meath’s Shane Walsh (3, 027) and Roscommon’s Niall Daly (2, 168).
