Caolan McColgan has been nominated for the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin man made his league debut yesterday, and was instrumental in Donegal’s one point win over All-Ireland Champions Kerry.
McColgan scored 0-3 from wing back in the 0-13 to 1-9 win over The Kingdom, and deservedly won Man of the Match for his performance.
He’s one of three players nominated for the Footballer of the Week award, along with Roscommon’s Niall Daly and Shane Walsh of Meath.
The winner can be voted by the public on the GAA’s official Instagram page by voting ‘Yes’ on the story of McColgan.
Voting closes at 10am on Tuesday.
