Ann-Marie McGlynn was the winner of the Raheny 5 mile road race on Sunday.
Over 3,800 people from across the country competed in the 39th running of the prestigious race, with McGlynn coming out on top in the Women’s race.
The Letterkenny AC athlete won in a time of 26:43, with Sorcha Nic Dhomhnaill of West Limerick A.C. in 2nd and in 3rd was Sinead O’Connor of Leevale A.C.
Fellow Letterkenny runner Nakita Burke was 7th, finishing in 27:39, while Lifford-Strabane’s Claire McGuigan was 12th in 28:34.
In the Mens race, Paul Caulfied finished first of the Letterkenny athletes in 28:07, with Martin Devenney close behind in 28:33. Ciaran O’Donnell finished in 34:18.
