Stramore National School has qualified for the finals of the All Ireland VEX IQ Robotics Competition.
They came out tops at the Northwest Regional Competition which took place in Donegal ATU, Letterkenny, last Friday.
The school is located in Glendown, between Churchill and Termon.
The unique competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, provides primary and secondary school students with exciting, open-ended robotics challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centred learning.
The VEX IQ Competition fosters student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
