Another very cold night of snow and frost is in store for Donegal tonight, Met Eireann warns.
Motorists are being warned to expect hazardous conditions due to the freezing conditions.
Temperatures will dip to lows of -1C to -4C in parts of the county.
Snowfall is set to affect north Donegal and Inishowen in particular.
Donegal County Council gritters are out on all main routes in the county since 4pm.
A status yellow ice warning is in place for all counties until noon Thursday.
Meanwhile, the winter weather advisory for frosts, ice, hail, sleet and snow, remains in place until 9am Friday.
