Job Vacancy: MDT Construction in Letterkenny is seeking applications for the role of Project Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To liaise with the client and design team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget including;
- Site meetings to be held fortnightly on site; Provide Progress reports and program review in advance of meetings on any general issues and agree minutes
- Day to day project information request and submittal approvals
- Procure necessary sub-contractors and suppliers to meet program, agree costs and place orders
- Work closely with MDT management and site staff to deliver the project
- Provide up to date weekly report to MDT management on status of project highlighting any issues regarding time and cost
Project Manager requirements:
- Engineering or QS background with experience in public works contracts is preferable
- Proven working experience in construction management or similar role
- Good knowledge of construction management processes
- Experience with construction management software packages
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Outstanding knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
Role will be based in Donegal
Salary: Excellent remuneration package will be discussed with the candidate
