Dylan Browne McMonagle is out competing in racing in Dubai for the month.
The Letterkenny jockey will be in action over the course of January in the Middle East for what will no doubt be a massive experience for him at this early stage of his career.
Browne McMonagle had his first ride in Meydan last Friday on Logo Hunter, but they could only manage to finish sixth for trainer Michael Browne.
The Letterkenny man had an outstanding 2022 with over 50 wins, retaining the Irish Flat Champion Apprentice jockey crown.
He also won the ‘Flat Achievement Award’ at the 2022 Horse Racing Ireland Awards in Dublin last month.
The 19-year-old also claimed his first Group 1 winner in the Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes at the Curragh in September, winning on 9/1 shot Al Riffa for Joseph O’Brien.
