A history loving member of the public has donated a beautiful bound volume of old maps of Lifford to the Donegal County Archives.
The maps relate to the former Clonleigh estate from 1882 and will soon be available for inspection.
“This was a kind donation from a history-loving member of the public,” a spokesperson for the archives said.
“This is a fantastic way to start the new year, thank you from Donegal Archives.”
