A popular London-based Carrigart man has managed to raise a massive €175,000 for Donegal Hospice.
Brendan ‘Tiny’ Vaughan, a talented photographer, raised the money through calendars, and sponsorship, he has been producing since 2011.
Notable, the October page of the 2023 calendar, which is currently on sale, is dedicated to the people of Creeslough.
Brendan’s father was from the village and he lost four cousins in the tragedy.
He was at the hospice yesterday for a presentation along with longtime friends, and supporters of the publication, Tim Kelly and Seamus Quinn.
Tim, from Frosses, runs the Kelly Group in London and Seamus, from Donegal town, is behind the Quinn London company.
He took the opportunity to thank both men, the hospice and all his sponsors over the years.
