A suspected drug-driver was last night arrested by the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit.
Gardaí detected a strong smell of cannabis from a car they stopped and they then conducted a roadside drug test with the driver.
Following a failed test, the driver was then found to be in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
A blood specimen was collected back at the Garda Station.
This specimen will now be sent to the MBRS for analysis.
