Last weekend the Caisleain Oir in Annagry hosted the Rosses AC seniors awards night.
The overall Male athlete of the year was the hard working and consistent Declan Ferry who mounted podiums consistently with fantastic times on the road and adventure racing.
The overall female athlete of the year was the always determined and inspirational Helen McCready. Some of her achievements this year include all Ireland bronze Medal as part of the Donegal team, A fantastic result winning the Letterkenny half marathon and a blistering 2:51 run at the Berlin Marathon.
The night started with the club recognising the achievements of our 4 Donegal Grand Prix series champions Declan Ferry, Martina Mulhern, Cathy Breslin (Masters) and Patrick Trimble (Masters) – a clean sweep.
The list below is of our category winners this year who excelled and represented the club so fantastically at home and abroad on roads, grass and mountains doing themselves and the club proud.
Kathleen McGonagle was a deserving winner of the Club Person of the Year for all her efforts on the Club Committee as well as coaching across a number of disciplines.
