Permission sought to extend and upgrade historic church

Plans are to be submitted for alterations and a new extension to St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill.

Fr Martin Cunningham is applying to Donegal County council for planning permission for the development which includes a new entrance lobby, reconciliation room and a disabled toilet.

The proposed development will also include an external toilet block and the upgrade of the fabric of the historic structure which is almost 200 years old.
