Keith Cowan says it was a ‘no-brainer’ to return to Finn Harps having signed for the club today as captain.
The Ramelton man returns after three seasons away from Finn Park with Dungannon Swifts, Glentoran and Drogheda United.
Cowan played for Drogheda in the Premier Division this season and despite moving down a division, he said once he spoke to new manager Dave Rogers he couldn’t turn down the opportunity.
Cowan said “When I met him and we spoke about his enthusiasm to progress the club is great and it was a bit of a no-brainer to take up an opportunity to be involved in that.
“He’s all in, he’s ambitious here in Ballybofey and he wants to change the perception of the club.”
