Missing person search resumes in Twin Towns

It’s expected a search for a missing person will resume in the Twin Towns this morning.

The Coastguard Rescue 118 helicopter spent several hours yesterday evening searching an area along the River Finn, below Stranorlar Bridge, before it was stood down.

Gardaí and emergency services were also at the scene, while groups of locals assisted the search along the river banks.

No further information is known at this time.
