DFS Engineering Ltd currently has a vacancy for an experienced welder/maintenance technician as well as an apprentice.
A leading engineering firm, it is based at Gortnacorrib, Letterkenny, and provides such services as mobile welding, in-line boring, precision engineering and fitting and steel fabrication.
DFS currently has two positions: One for an experienced candidate and one for an apprentice.
Details of the job:
- General welder
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing of a range of machinery such as construction and quarry machinery
Looking for someone who is:
- Flexible, driven and motivated to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel throughout Ireland on occasions
- Ideally have an engineering, mechanical qualification and or plant background (favourable but not essential for the apprentice position)
- Physically fit as manual work is required
