Manufacturing engineer
Location: Ireland, Dungloe.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to assist with the design, development, application, and maintenance of manufacturing procedures and processes for engineering products and projects.
Full training is provided, Flexible working hours and shift patterns will be involved.
The role:
- Design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing procedures and processes.
- Design of manufacturing systems and facilities.
- Providing feedback to the Engineering Department on design issues relating to the manufacturability of engineering products.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to manufacturing procedures.
- Training of manufacturing staff
- Assisting in setting up and coordination of effective manufacturing teams.
- Assisting in the coordination and development of supply chains.
- Troubleshooting technical problems that arise in the manufacturing process.
- Maintaining awareness of new systems and technologies that could be beneficial in manufacturing.
The Candidate:
Essential:
- Degree / HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess a hands-on approach and practical engineering skills.
Desirable:
- Have experience with CAD Systems / 3D solid modelling.
- Experience of manufacturing electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience of Six Sigma, the 5 S’s approach to manufacturing, General “Good Manufacturing Practice” protocols and T.P.M.

Manufacturing administrator
Randox has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual with great attention to detail to join our team at Randox.
The role of Manufacturing Administrator will involve updating and maintaining administration systems within the Instrument Manufacturing Department and provide support for both the Engineering Stores and the manufacturing departments.
We require the candidate to be flexible with working duties and working shift patterns may be required.
The Candidate:
Essential:
- Office & IT administration experience.
- Be fully computer literate
- Excellent organizational skills are required and the ability to prioritize tasks to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to act on their own initiative and work well as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Possess relevant experience in a similar role.
- Be proficient in the use of the full suite of Microsoft office.
- Previous knowledge of SAGE

Operator

Store Person
Randox is currently looking to recruit enthusiastic, friendly, and hardworking individuals to work within our Stores Department at our Site in Dungloe. This position is a permanent, full-time role and will be responsible for the general operation of stores in line with company procedures. Duties in this role will vary and flexibility will be required. Full training will be provided and Shift patterns are involved.
The Role:
- The loading and unloading consignments of goods
- The checking, inspection, quarantining and documentation of incoming supplies including receipt of goods into computer system.
- The storage of goods in the designated storage areas
- Maintaining electronic records of all deliveries.
- The checking of delivery notes dispatch notes and other stores documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- The operation of stock assessment and control
- The initiation of re-ordering certain stock items on reaching minimum stock level
- The release of goods (internal and external) from stores and their delivery to the various departmental locations
- Storage of departmental archive files.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive – new duties and responsibilities will be incorporated as a matter of custom and practice as the role evolves.
Essential Criteria:
- Have basic experience in standard computer applications e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc
Desirable Criteria:
- Fork Truck License
- Experience of using Computerized Stock control Software/Sage
- Experience in safe Manual Handling practices.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of stores operations within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings of medium complexity.
- Clean driving license
