Cranford AC are raring up to host the National Cross Country Championships later this month and had a special guest for their podcast this week.
Just a couple of weeks to go to the National Senior, U/23 and Even Age Group U/12 to U/20 incl. Male and Female CCC at the Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort Driving Range, Downings, on Sunday November 20th.
As a build up to the event, Cranford AC have recorded a number of “Podcasts” to promote the event. This week it is former Cranford AC athlete, Amber Barrett along with founder member of the club Eamon Giles.
Amber acknowledges Eamon Giles’s athletic coaching with Cranford AC as a “big factor” in her scoring historic goal for Ireland against Scotland at Hampden Park.
Barrett was played through and finished the ball into the net when given the chance of the 1-on-1 and secured World Cup qualification for the Ireland team.
