Donegal Local Development CLG is an integrated local development company established in 1995.
We deliver a number of external funded programmes to the Donegal Community.
Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) are now inviting applications for the position of Community Links Worker – Ukrainian Response as part of its SICAP 2018 – 2023 Programme.
This contract term is from November 2022 to August 2023 – subject to funding.
DLDC aims to work with people displaced from Ukraine who have come to Donegal seeking safety because of the war in Ukraine.
We work to identify and address their support needs as well as organise events, community activities and opportunities to support wider community integration.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with individuals and facilitate groups, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
The Community Links Officer will be required to work 2 days per week.
The role is based in Letterkenny, with the expectation to provide support to groups/individuals in accommodation settings across the County (excluding Inishowen).
Fluency in Ukrainian and English is required and prior experience working in the area of community development or NGO’s or charities sector. Applicants must hold a clean, current driving license with access to own transport.
