Met Éireann has warned of potentially damaging gusts as it issued a Status Yellow wind and rain warning for the entire country for tomorrow.
It said it will be very windy with widespread gales, along with the potential for “localised wave overtopping along Atlantic coasts”.
Heavy rain is also forecast, which could lead to flooding in some areas.
The warning comes into effect at 4am tomorrow and will be in place until 9pm tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, the UK Met Office has issued a Yellow Wind warning for counties Antrim and Down from 7am to 8pm tomorrow, with a spell of very windy weather expected to affect Irish Sea coastal areas.
A Yellow rain warning will come into effect from 8am to 3pm tomorrow for counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry, with heavy rain that may lead to flooding in places.
