Planning permission has been refused for a new glamping site in south west Donegal.
Phelim McGill had planned to construct five glamping pods, service building and car parking area at Carrick Upper, Carrick.
The proposed development also included connection to all existing site services including public sewer mains and water connection and all associated site development works.
However, council planners refused the application.
They said the proposed site was too far from Carrick village, wasn’t serviced by a footpath and, as a result, would create a traffic hazard.
