A new multi-million euro trawler was launched in Killybegs yesterday.
A beautiful celebration was held in Ireland’s premier fishing port for the ‘MFV Veronica’, the latest vessel for the McHugh family-owned Atlantic Dawn Group.

Fr Colm Gallagher celebrated the blessing along with Vera McHugh, the honorary Godmother of the boat, and other members of the McHugh family.
The group was formed by the late Kevin McHugh, a Mayo native, in 1968 and has gone on to become a world leader in fish processing.
