Donegal Mountain Rescue volunteers are advising the public that team training exercises will be taking place in the Lough Salt area this Wednesday night.
People are being advised not to be concerned if they see lights on the hill.
DMRT provides an emergency response, remote environment and extreme terrain search and rescue service for the County of Donegal. The team is comprised completely of volunteers who are on 24 hour call, 365 days of the year.
The team is tasked by An Garda Síochána, so if there is an emergency please call 112 or 999 directly. This is to ensure an appropriate coordinated response.
